Summer walk

In celebration of Bowen’s 7 month birthday yesterday, he and I took a walk over to Baskin Robbins for ice cream.  Michael was at work all day and then had a meeting in the evening, so Bowen and I had the afternoon to ourselves.  It was a beautiful evening for a summer walk.

Bowen didn’t get any ice cream, but he did have fun waving his hands frantically at the friendly Baskin Robbin clerk.

Last year, I came up with a list of things that I wanted to do all summer and one of them was walking to Baskin Robbins once a week.  That goal wasn’t really fulfilled (actually, I don’t think I even walked there once, haha!  Hey, I was 5 months pregnant.)  So I’ve decided that I’ll add it to my Summer 2012 list (which I still need to compile.)

In other news, we’re getting our bark for the backyard today!  So I’ll be in the yard this weekend.
