I did end up with the flu after all. And it was horrid. It was a plague. After a visit to the ER, I was relieved to hear that baby was doing just fine, despite me losing so much fluid. I also got anti-nausea meds and, wow, that helped immensely.

We’ve made it to week 10. And successfully avoided the plague stomach flu that poor Michael endured for almost 4 full days. I’m hoping to avoid any/all other illness during the rest of this pregnancy. Morning sickness is bad enough for now.

Home for Christmas

My brother visited from Germany for about 2 weeks over Christmas and it was a blast! We had Jeopardy tournaments on our Playstation, watched movies and went out to eat at our favorite restaurants.
